About our Finds
THE BLISSFUL is a retail-only operation. We do not offer wholesale or quantity discounts on any of our products, nor do we provide information about our wholesale vendors.
Temporarily Sold Out Items
When items are temporarily sold out, you will see a Temporarily Sold Out graphic below the product description on the product details page. In these cases, we make every effort to provide an accurate Expected In Stock date in our product description. You will not be able to add Temporarily Sold Out items to your Shopping Cart. When our supplies have been replenished, the Add to Cart button will reappear and you will once again be able to purchase the item. Please check back regularly to see when Temporarily Sold Out items have been replenished.
Occasionally an item that is for sale in our Online Boutique may sell out in our brick and mortar store before we are able to update our online inventory. In those cases, you will be able to complete the purchase online but you will then receive an e-mail from our staff notifying you of the backordered item and advising you of the approximate ship date.
Finds Featured On Our Website & Blog
At this time, our Online Boutique represents just a fraction of what we have for sale in the brick and mortar store. Due to our agreements with some of our vendors, plus the fact that we carry literally thousands of items in our shop, we are not able to offer all of our finds in our Online Boutique. However, we are always glad to work with you to complete a sale for almost anything you may see featured on our website or our blog. Please e-mail us at sales@theblissful.com and describe the items you are interested in. We will be happy to provide you with product information and additional photos, if required. We will invoice you for those items via PayPal or complete a transaction with you over the telephone using your credit card.
Telephone & PayPal Orders
Although we believe your credit card is completely safe when you shop with us online {see Our Privacy Statement and How We Protect Your Credit Card Online, below}, we will gladly take your order over the telephone using your credit card. Simply telephone us at 330.492.2500 with the items you’d like to purchase. Shipping charges for UPS Ground can be found on our Shipping page. At the time of purchase, we will need the following information: type of credit card, credit card number, expiraton date, three digit security code on back of card, address to which the card bills, your name, your shipping address, e-mail address, and the best phone number where our shipper can reach you if necessary. We also are glad to invoice you via PayPal, in which case you will not use the Shopping Cart in our Online Boutique. Please e-mail orders to sales@theblissful.com, include your city and zip code, and we will invoice you via PayPal with shipping charges included.
Sales Tax
All online sales made to an address within the state of Ohio will be taxed at a rate of 6%.
Exchanges
We strongly encourage our online customers to ask any questions they may have about an item before purchasing. We can be reached at helpdesk@theblissful.com or by telephone at 330.492.2500 during shop hours. All messages are returned promptly and messages that come in after hours or on non-business days will be returned at our earliest opportunity on the following business day.
In the event you are truly dissatisfied with your online purchase, you may contact us for Exchange Authorization or for a Store Credit within 10 days of the UPS delivery date of your package. No refunds will be made under any circumstances. In the event you wish to exchange merchandise, please e-mail us at returns@theblissful.com for Exchange Authorization. The merchandise must be in its original, perfect condition and must not be altered in any way. Candles, Apothecary, and Stationery items must be sealed in their original box or container with all original wrappers and seals intact. Apparel, Home Textiles, and Linens must be unworn, unused, and unlaundered. Once you have received your Exchange Authorization number from us via e-mail, write it on the original Sales Receipt included with your package {please make a copy of the receipt for your records}. Pack the original Sales Receipt along with your merchandise and send it back to us well-secured, prepaid and properly insured. We are not responsible for any items you have sent back to us that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. ALL SALES ARE FINAL on jewelry, gourmet items, perishable items, music CDs, books, custom or special ordered items, and sale items. No exchanges will be made and no store credits will be issued for the abovestated items.
Once we have given you Exchange Authorization, our staff will work with you via e-mail or telephone to complete the exchange. Exchanges can be made from merchandise featured in our Online Boutique as well as on our website or blog. In the event that you exchange your purchase for an item of greater value, we will invoice you for the difference via PayPal or settle the difference over the telephone using your credit card.

Items Purchased as Gifts
If you are purchasing an item to be given as a gift, please tell us so and request a Gift Receipt in the Comments box before you confirm your order near the end of the checkout process. We will enclose a Gift Receipt in your package, as well as Exchange instructions, for you to give to your recipient. Items purchased as gifts can be exchanged for merchandise or store credit only within 10 days of the UPS delivery date of the package when the recipient OR purchaser contacts us for Exchange Authorization {see Exchanges, above}. We are happy to work directly with the gift recipient to make an exchange or a store credit just so long as the items are sent back to us with the Gift Receipt or original Sales Receipt enclosed in the package. The recipient must follow all instructions described in the above section, Exchanges, when exchanging a gift item.
Damages
We carefully pack each item following the guidelines established by UPS. Once the package leaves our store, however, we are no longer able to control how it is handled by the shipper. Occasionally, an item may be damaged during shipment. If that is the case, notify us immediately by e-mailing us at claims@theblissful.com. Damage claims MUST be made within 3 days of the UPS delivery date of your package. DO NOT dispose of the damaged merchandise or packaging unless instructed to do so by THE BLISSFUL. Disposal of the damaged merchandise or packaging without our authorization may void any damage claim and no credit or replacement will be issued.
Our Privacy Statement
Privacy is blissful.
We will never sell or share your information with any third party. Any information we gather about you through your use of our Contact form or through the checkout process on our online boutique will be kept strictly confidential. We will use such information only to reply to your inquiry or contact you about your purchase, if necessary, or for e-mail and regular mail communications related to THE BLISSFUL.

How We Protect Your Credit Card Online
You can shop online at THE BLISSFUL with confidence. We have developed multiple safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Socket Layer {SSL} technology to insure your safety. SSL encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of our store. To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.
We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card and electronic check transactions for our customers. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks. The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including: 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer {SS} technology for secure Internet Protocol {IP} transactions; industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information, and compliance with the Payment Card Industry {PCI} Data Security Standard.
